Could someone try to set your TV to Dynamic, put up the color menu while watching a movie and see if you get the same dimming up and down? Thank you!
Okay you have to make some decisions what you like in TV settings. The dynamic mode is normally used for store well light environmental settings.I honestly believe that your settings are skewed.
I would suggest that you copy the settings for dynamic mode then transfer them to the standard mode From there you can tweek the settings to what you are comfortable with.
I highly recommend that you use one of the settings found in post 631 or subsequent post by other members.
Give it a fair shot and watch the tv for 1 or 2 days to see if you can adjust to the new settings..
Dynamic mode looks great but I always found it too strong for my eyes and in all probably it is crushing the back levels or destroying them with the high settings.
I cannot tell you what is good for you we all view tv differently,it is something that you will have to decide, but I do not many audio/videofiles that operate their TV in Dynamic mode.
I know some use it for games and sports
Good luck with your setting you will have to make an informed decision that suits you and other family members
