Sure this question has been asked before but no luck with searches. TIA for any input.
Local cable provider switching to all digital and provided a couple of Pace DTA boxes that work fine with old TVs. Here is the problem... Am building vintage stereo system that I would like to run the analog audividioo through as would sound better than TV speakers (duh!) Problem lies in available connections.
DTA has only RG6 coax in/out (digital/analog chnl 3/4) TV (Phillips TS2746C)
has RG6 in as well as RCA audio and video in, no audio out. DVD/VCR tunerless recorder/player (Magnavox DV225MG9) has RCA inputs only, no RG6.
Not interested in recording off cable so video signal is moot but would like to know if there is a way (short of buying dedicated junk vcr. No more room) to grab audio output off RG6 analog output from the dta ?
Probably simple or not possible as is the usual case. Tks again for any input
