Panasonic TC-L47E50

I have been looking at this TV for a while to replace a 4 year old 40" Samsung LCD. Anybody hear good or bad about this set? Not a lot of reviews that I have been able to find on it yet. Is this worth the $799 that Best But has it for right now. Should I pick it up and tell myself Happy Father's Day?

$649 at Amazon right now, plus a $100 Amazon credit--I'd jump if I didn't already have a panny lcd

hi,

I am looking to upgrade my 32". Should I just on this deal ( 47" for $649)? So we get $100 back towards the purchase or just $100 general credit? In other words, are they going to credit my Amazon store card or is it just a general store credit?
