CHT 8 Q chirps

Hello,

I'm living in Germany and bought an CHT 8 Q about 3 years ago. This winter a high frequency chirping started, which for some time I could not locate, first I thought I was the central heating, but then I discovered that it is coming from the sub. Warranty was expired as it is only 2 years in Germany. Over the time it's getting worse, and it get's more and more annoying. It's there, even when the woofer is on standby, but changes a little bit, when actually running. Could you advice, how to deal with it. It's not, that I'm a complete novice to working on electrical devices, but I don't want to ruin anything. I asked some guys in our repair center here and we all think, that it may be a blown Electrolytic capacitor. Any suggestions would be appricated, as it is quite heavy, I would prefer just swapping circuit board or capacitor. Thanks in advance, Karsten
