Currently I have a JVC UX LP5 system in a dinning/kitchen space. This system is about 3.5 yrs old and the display has nearly been 'burned out' (such that it is really faded, only in low level lighting, it can be seen). Also the buttons are not as responsive as they should be.
For something that doesnt get too much use, I'd expect it to last 6 yrs to 10 yrs.
Are there any places to look for a unit that has 2 to 3 boxes (L and R channel and amp) that are meant to have a long life. Or, do you have some specific models and/or even companies I should look at?
