Mobile App

What about the mobile app? Ever since the change to the new forum, my mobile app on android does not work. And I can't really use the new forum at work since it bogs down the old Pentium 3Ghz processors the PC s use. Hopefully they replace our PCs soon with a a PC with a quad core CPU.

Thanks!!! I have the app on my phone but didn't realize AVS was there since they had their own app before.

So what is the timing for the HTML5? It is very painful accessing AVS with a mobil phone which is my primary method.

The HTML5 mobile browser is still in development so it will be while yet.

Still in the dark on how to use Tapatalk to quote posts or sections of posts, and have them properly rendered on Tapatalk. As it is, it's very hard to distinquish the quotes from the replies. When I bracket with the QUOTE & /QUOTE method, it renders properly on my PC but not in Tapatalk. (Tried switching the Nested Posts control to no effect.) Is there a sticky on how to do this?

It also "feels" to me that regular posters who might have been using the mobile client are participating less on AVS audio forums. Tapatalk appears to be a paid app, so that's probably not going to encourage the same participation as the downloadable AVS apps did.

Meanwhile, it's surprising that Huddler doesn't have a mobile web browser version like many web content management systems do.

I know it's true in my case (although I was more of a regular reader than poster). I enjoyed reviewing my 'subscribed' threads every morning along with stocks, weather, etc., but now I can only browse AVS on my PC, and even that isn't as 'user friendly' as it was. Hard to believe that such a forward thinking forum could make such a backwards change.

Any idea on what is currently going on with regard to Tapatalk? I'm up to date on the latest client and cannot access the site. I even tried logging out and back into the app. Every time I receive and error message telling me to check with the site administrator.

I also feel as though there has been a substantial decrease in the number of posts to the site since the revamp. Maybe it's a function of summer, but before there were multiple posts to threads I participate in. Now days seem to pass without much activity.

Posting with Tapatalk right now so no issues with them right now.

Last I looked, traffic was slightly up this month compared to last.

I have read that clearing the apps cache will resolved this.

Clearing cache worked. Thanks.
