Even though the output jacks on the back of this receiver are RCA jacks, my interpretation of the user manual (page 14) is that they are actually for input to passive speakers.

The 1/8 input on your Logitech subwoofer are most likely for line level signals.
Further inspection of the Sony manual shows that there is a RCA jack for connection to the line level input on a subwoofer, and it could be connected to the Logitech using a standard 1/8" stereo to RCA cable.Edited by arnyk - 6/12/12 at 5:48am
