I ended up having to return my HT-RC460 (nearly identical, including firmware, to NR515) because Onkyo couldn't figure out my HDMI passthrough issues. The minute I posted that I had been forced to return it and replaced it with another brand, the mods on their support "forum" deleted not only the post, but the entire 4 page long thread on the issues, troubleshooting, possible solutions, and eventual resolution. I dared to mention it and ask why, and they IP banned me from the forum and went on to remove my post on their Facebook page from a month ago.
Needless to say, Onkyo has lost a consumer for life. Oh, and I replaced that buggy thing with a Denon 1913, which has worked flawlessly with the same components and even the same cables that I had hooked up to the Onkyo.
