The link above clearly states you're in the wrong forum to ask for "sharing of settings". Go to the appropriate owner's thread and ask there.

Carefully read the link that GeorgeAB posted and then, as suggested, go to the appropriate owners thread. But don't be surprised if any settings you find there look like crap on your set.

My guess is a lack of English language comprehension.

Different tv, different specs, doubtful those settings will produce an accurate, desirable pq.

exactly, and even if it was an identical model, those settings would not have the same effect on the OP's TV vs. his TV... each sample of a given model can vary, sometimes by a lot

Maybe ballpark. Worth a try, since it's reversible. Most are recommending starting in Movie Mode with Expanded Gamut.
I find this setting much more accurate and useable across a wide array of media, from 3D BluRay to CNN.
It's just a strategy -- get rid of the annoying blue cast in the highlights and the clipping of red, magenta and yellow.
If another person finds those same problems in Standard Mode out of the box, then these settings MIGHT help.

That's a BIG maybe and still doubtful. Even if he carefully writes down his settings beforehand, all it takes is a misplaced setting or two and he's forever trying to figure out how to fix it other than resetting his tv back to factory. A big waste of time and unnecessary amount of stress. He'd be best off to leave it a factory and tweak to liking his presets and leave the more advanced settings alone. Or, as has been suggested, do an Accurate Picture Adjustment with one of the calibration disks available (free and commercial).

Factory reset was what I meant by reversible.
My settings are only meant as a strategy or mode of attack.
The advanced settings are there for good reason.
The LEDs shift towards even more blue with age, for one thing.

Where could I obtain a calibration disc?
I've labored with monochrome pictures to get the balance right -- relying on adjacent gray tones from various sources.
A good test pattern with a cascade of luminance values juxtaposed would have saved me a lot of grief.
Well, it's too bad that all the sweat and tears is non-transferrable between Quattron sets. Strange, too...

It's not just Quattrons, it's any HDTV, and it's not so strange if you understand mfrs tolerance levels. Besides, calibrating a tv also takes into consideration the viewing environment. And everybody's viewing environment is different. The commercial disk are WoW, DVEssentials, Spears & Munsil, etc. You can download for free the AVS HD709 disk which is what I used. I don't have the link handy but I'm sure someone will post it.

I'll try the second option since I only have a DVD burner.
I have the Denon 1611UD BluRay player.
I'll see how it works...downloads just fine with Seamonkey download manager.
So far, so good...burns fine with ImgBurn...hey, it works!
I'm going to be able to fine-tune the 10-Point Color Temperature to get more uniformity.
It was very close, but has some green/purple shifting in the gray scale with advancing brightness.
I'll edit my list of values when I've finished refining the settings.

The disc was very helpful. My eyeball values were close, but I got rid of a bit of purple/green impurity in the mid-tones.
Red and green clip a lot -- the LED color is blue, so that figures. I left a bit of clipping of red and green to maintain a vivid picture.
I couldn't decide how much to use Saturation versus Value to reduce clipping. The Value adjustment would need color filters to adjust,
so I made it a 50/50 reduction of Saturation and Value to get the red and magenta tamed -- the same scheme I used before the disc.
The picture looks almost identical to the blood sweat and tears method pre-disc, but it's good to know the gray is now 100% pure.
Thanks again for the help. I will enjoy these settings till the LEDs start to shift to blue in the distant future...
