42UT50 or Kuro 42950HD?

Hey all,

I'm debating whether or not to take back my Panasonic 42UT50 and buy a used Kuro 42950HD (8th gen). I'd be paying a couple hundred more for the used Kuro, but from what I hear these Kuro's are damn well worth it. I bought the 42UT50 for 730$. I can get the Kuro for $1000. Any advice? I'm not sure how well these 2012 Panasonics are compared to the Kuro's, so thats why I thought I'd ask on here.

EDIT: The Kuro is 720p by the way.

That Kuro model number you posted must be wrong cause when i look for info it doesn't come up anywhere, but the 8th Generation Pioneers were 768p not 720p (nobody makes a 720p Plasma) and they were (and is still are) the best 768p TVs ever made. If you sit far enough from the screen that you won't see the SDE and the jaggies (like beyond say 10 feet for my eyes) then the 8th Gen Kuro is a great TV, and the AR Filter is very good too.

PRO-950HD which was a 1st gen Kuro and the only 42" Elite Kuro PDP.
