TV Sound Through Zone 2

Thread Starter
Greetings; I need help. My Zone 2 is connected and works fine for everything except TV sound. If I want to hear the sound portion of a TV channel (i.e. Cable TV Music Channels), how do I choose that input to play through Zone 2. I can listen to FM & AM radio channels, CD player, etc. but can't get it to play the TV music channels.

Hi jjk57, connect additonal RCA (white & red) cables to same assign name for the cable box. Then use "Signal Sel" button to cycle to "Analog".

Example:
cable box -> HDMI cable -> receiver (Video-1)
cable box -> RCA cables -> receiver (video-1)

Does your TV display have L/R analog Out jacks?..

Many of the later TVs only have an Optical Out.

If you only have an Optical Out then you will have to convert its audio to analog 1st..

Just my $0.02.. wink.gif
