3 channel sound bar or in ceiling speakers

hi,
i know this is a never ending topic, but my wife has given me two options for our home theater.
i can either do a 3 channel soundbar or do in ceiling speakers.

i was looking into something like Polk Audio 620-RT or Klipsch® Gallery™ G-42 Soundbar.

putting cost aside, which of the two options would be the best sound. the rear's are going to be in ceiling regardless.
the height of our living room is 10 feet which may or may not factor in speaker selection.

on another note, i will be installing russound for my whole house audio. is there any way to have my rear speakers which is also close to my kitchen shared so i have them used as rear surrounds or part of my russound system,

thanks
KJ

If money is not the real option, then I would put Atlantic Tech on
a short list. Atlantic Tech FS-4000

This is a nice unit, a bit bulky though.

is there a noticeable sound difference compared to in ceiling speakers.

this will be used as our everyday tv, i another room where i am dedicating to home theater.

In-ceiling speakers can be annoying and distracting, for front channel viewing
and listening. With a higher quality soundbar, the voices and sounds can be
more realistic around the seated viewing area. I do not like to be distracted by
voices and sounds from above, which tends to annoy and cause me to move
my head.

A few other soundbars that might be worth looking into are the Triad Mini LCR and Artison SB-1.
