Can you guys convince me on why I should buy a new TV?
I own an LN52B750 (second generation of your TV), and the only reason I would upgrade is for increase picture size. However, spending another 1-2k to increase from 52" to 55, or 60" is not worth it in my opinion. Sharp is one of the only players that offers TV's beyond 65" (Sony, Samsung and LG all have claims of offering larger sets and have done so for years but none of them have really delivered on that claim), but the picture quality is decent, not fantastic--unless you have thousands to spend on a Sharp Elite. Long story short, there isn't anything out there that can be had for ~2k that's worth upgrading for. If you feel like letting lose with ~$4k I'd recommend the 632u 80" sharp (or the newer 844). If picture quality means everything than I'd recommend the 60" or 70" Sharp Elite. Sharp also just released a 90" set if you have $10k burning a hole in your pocket.
