I have just purchased a set of Monitor Audio speakers and i want to wear them in without causing damage.

(BX6, BXFX, BX Center and BXW-10)

Ive heard of a "Wear in period" but i cant find any information on it.

Thanks in advance,

Ben.

Since the break in time can be long (some speaker manufactures say 20 hours or so)...one has the option of turning the speakers up on low to moderate volume and just leaving them on all day!

Nah i wont be doing that, ill do a few days of moderate listening and then after that when the the parents are out, the volume's up biggrin.gif

Thanks for the advice. Ive never had a decent home sound system before and with the money involved i wanted to be sure before i turned it up!

Play them loud enough (-20db) to exercise their suspension and driver materials and over a week or so it should sound natural, as designed.
