Does anyone know if the 3D events broadcast in the US by Cox will be in real time and not delayed?

I think all of the 3D content available in the USA will be delayed. AT&T's uVerse just turned on Channel 1095 for 3D Olympic coverage (Coming Soon screen atm), so we should find out very soon. Women's soccer starts tomorrow if I'm not correct.

Here in Wichita Cox has a 3D channel. It shows up in the guide but normally when you go to it it just says "Off Air". I went to it today and it says something along the lines of "This channel will be brocasting the 2012 Olympics in 3D starting July 27th". The message is in 3D smile.gif

So, I'm wondering if I can record the 3d feed channel on my whole home 8642hdc and then have 3d content when I want to watch.

Does anyone know if this will work? Or do I have to watch it in real time?

hmmm

Watching what says on guide is Olympic coverage. Instead it's a maroon 5 concert in 3d. Never seen them play anything else on this channel. Maybe they'll use this channel now

Been watching a little of the 3d content on channel 1300 here in th CT area. Pretty good. It is definitley reduced resolution. I have watched few movies in 3d on demand and they were good.

It is a raw feed. The camera angles are not prime fr they always have background items in them (other cameras, people being interviewed by other networks, all the pauses between rounds (no fill or stories)

A few commercials that they run over and over.

But - it is 3d!

My 8642HDC HD-DVR records the 3D olympics channel programming fine.
A lot of it is aired very early like 2am, so I let the DVR record it for hours and can watch it later in the evening.
