Panasonic PT-AE3000U and DMP-BDT110 both have Viera Link, I thought it was just a feature to use one remote for both devices. This works.
However I read in the projector manual that there are other settings associated with Viera Link - on page 77 it describes several settings - power on link / power off link / energy saving mode / unused device energy save. This is the excerpt:
This description is characteristically sparse, but it seems I ought to be able to turn the projector on (while it is in standby) by turning on the Blu-Ray player. This would be nice, but I can't seem to make this work.
Do I understand this correctly?
I have the projector connected directly to the BDT with HDMI. The receiver is an Onkyo but I bypassed it trying to make this work. I don't know if the Onkyo would pass Viera Link settings to the PJ.
