Need help finding a new bulb

My experience with buying lamps from on-line vendors has not been good. The ads are cleverly worded to imply that you are buying an official manufacturer's lamp.

In reality, you are buying a Chinese knock off version of the lamp.

I went through a half dozen of these lamps from a well recognized vendor. None of them worked more than a few weeks before developing problems. Fortunately the vendor kept replacing them before finally suggesting that I try a lamp from the manufacturer - even though there is "no difference" in performance between what they sell and the manufacturer.

I got one directly from the manufacturer. installed it, and haven't had an issue since.

With DLP lamps, price does not always equal value.
