This restoration was started in 2008, according to Van Ling. That's 4 years in the making. You know why the cues are still not in the soundtrack? Because he doesn't want them in there.

CONAN THE BARBARIAN has multiple music cues missing. Universal doesn't care. But I suppose John Milius WANTED the music screwed up too.
I'm sure Dario Argento wanted SUSPIRIA's soundtrack to drop multiple music cues and be mixed incorrectly.
I'm sure George Lucas wanted the rear surround channels on STAR WARS to be reversed.
