I am not sure if this is the right place to post so I apologize before hand. After enjoying my Samsung PN64D700 TV for a few months now I decided that I should get a few pairs of 3D glasses. I purchased the 3Active 3d Glasses by Dimensional Optics from Amazon as they had a decent price and I had a enough credit to cover 2 pairs. They are compatible to the Samsung 2011 TVs. I got them and charged them up, excited to actually try in home 3d and here is where I run into a problem. I turned on the 3d sample content through the smart hub and while the glasses connect fine it seems that half the image on the TV fails to display correctly. I checked and the glasses are paired to the TV correctly and while I would usually blame the glasses I don't think they are the issue as the moment I turn on the 3d the image on the screen basically completely washes out. The glasses lens darken correctly and when I close my right eye the image into the left eye is perfect but when I close the left eye the image is literally nothing but almost white static noise. Its like instead of the images polar opposites. For example lets say I have a red background with a completely black silhouette of a person. When I put it on 3d the image into the left eye is what I would normally see but the image on the right is completely off. Instead of the person's outline being black its completely white or grey depending on screen. This is for all 3d content from 2d-to3d conversion to the 3d games I have. I am just curious if there are calibration settings I missed or is there something wrong with the TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
