Onkyo TX-NR616 replacement - Any with Android?

I bought the Onkyo 616 but due to problems with the unit I'm thinking I should return it before the 30 days are up. The biggest issue is that I have to unplug the power and plug it back in to get picture from the receiver.

Like others, I was sold on the Onkyo due to the price range and features.

Wants
Powered Zone 2 for patio speakers and possible a pre-out for zone 3 for bedrooms (not decided on this part yet but maybe)
I don't have an iPhone so I hoped to get something I could use my Android on without having to physically plug it in.
I currently only have 5.1 speaker setup for my primary viewing area but would like 7.2 for future upgradability.
Good sound of course
A remote that controls the TV & Cable box

My budget has flexibility up to $1000 but I would prefer to keep it below $800. The 616 was below $500 but it seems it was too good to be true. I like listening to Slacker radio so I hoped to use it through my Android. Maybe I should bite the bullet and get an iPod. Thanks ahead of time for any input. If Onkyo would get their unit to working right I would be happy.

I've been looking at this one and started to buy it originally but there is no Android support at all. Maybe this will give me an excuse to buy an iPod. Not sure if my wife will see it that way. rolleyes.gif

Denon is making an Android app. Anything at this point is better than Onkyo. Pure crap.
