My Panasonic DMP-BDT500 has NO ".1" (Sub woofer/LFE) in the 7.1 analog outputs - anyone else have...

I believe all blu-ray players with multi-channel analog outputs generate an anemic LFE signal - generally down 10db from where it needs to be. Is it possible this is what you are seeing in your testing?

Likely there is a menu where you have the .1 OFF. Check the Audio set up area in the set up menu and see how they have the speakers defaulted. It could be in there.

Welcome to AVS. This has been discussed in the official 500 thread. There is no sub test signal in the set-up. Never has been with Panasonic dating back to the BD10. Adjust the DB in the receiver setup menu. Also read the audio set-up thread>

Panasonic 500 thread:

Audio Set-up thread:

When you follow these recommendations it will work just fine.
