Overscan changes when TV/Receiver shut off and on.

I know someone has had this problem before, I just can't find the solution.

Whenever I turn on my TV and Receiver with my HTPC always left on, I have a funny looking screen. Sometimes it just looks like the Overscan setting reset, sometimes it looks like a totally unknown resolution. The simplest fix I've found is to Restore and then Maximize WMC and everything is fine again.

Is there any solution to this other than programming my remotes Power button macro to include a Restore and Maximize command?

Specs:
TV: Panasonic TC-P50S1
Receiver: Denon AVR-1712
Video Card: AMD 6450 with Catalyst 12.6 beta (Not changing this as it's the only thing I've found to successfully bitstream)

You cantry to prevent the computer from knowing a monitor has been disconnected and therefor block any sort of resolution change by blocking pin 19 with a small piece of tape. It does no harm and you really only get benefits by disabling hot-plug-detect, its the wisdom tooth of HDMI.

I have a start up sequence to exit and reload WMC programed into my Harmony remote to solve this issue. It has been working without fail for a few weeks now.
