Component Location Ideas?

Hi All,

New to the forum just bought our first house and I am starting to setup my AV equipment. I have a 50" Samsung Plasma mounted with a Large full motion Sanus Mount. I am trying to figure out the best location for mounting the components. Currently I have a Blu ray Player a Comcast HD DVR and a Denon AV Reciever with a Boston Acoustics 5.1 speaker setup. I am unable to position anything below the tv due to the relation of the coach to the wall so the only options I see are to the left, right or top of the tv on a wall mount but my wife does not like this idea and would rather the equipment not be seen. I could run the equipment from the basement I am just not familiar with the logistics of having the AV equipment this far away from the operating environment so I am up for any ideas, thoughts and or questions...

Unfortunately no closet near by I was thinking the same thing for the DVD and possibly the other components... I am really considering using a wall mount like the one below... Anyone use one of these for mounting components on the side of a tv or have recommendations?

well I just decided to buy the Cheetah mount 3 rack shelf so we will see how the wife likes it... Looks like the most logical decision.
