Thanks for the link. Those test tones are very high quality, beyond what you find streaming on youtube, for sure... but also better than Bass Mekanik downloaded off iTunes. I confirmed my sub does 16hz with ease and zero chuffing.

First half are test tones but at the very bottom are some good bass tracks !!

Those are good clean tones. Now I know that the last bit of bass my sub produces is at 14hz, which feels like a subtle earthquake, with a bit of huffing from the cone which is doing a near-maximum excursion to create that pressure. 16 hz is nice and solid... and 'silent'. 17 hz made everything inside me shake in a funny way, crazy intense. 18hz onward seems to have the same intensity as 17hz. I'm psyched.

When I first read the title of this thread and at first glance I thought it said "tone" instead of "tune"...lol

12Hz is the ultimate test "tone". Check out my W6 in action. If you want to push your subs, nothing compares to good ol' sine waves...
