Seeking digital voice recorder. Interviews. Clip microphone, windscreen, transfer to Linux/Mac/PC

I'm looking to make interview recordings of an aging relative, and am looking for recommendations.
The Tascam DR-05 is the top pick so far.

What's really important to me is having a good clip microphone, and a windscreen available. Some
recordings will be in a car, or in areas with background noise, outdoors. He's a farmer. I figure putting
a clip on him will result in better sound quality. Mono recording is just fine. I don't know what microphone
I'd pair with the Tascam unit.

Transfer to PC should be via the usb storage class, not requiring a driver or special Windows software.

The article in the link describes various recorders and gives recommendations.

Thanks, though the recommendations are weak.
They're just parroting existing reviews, and don't address well the things that are most important to me (e.g. file format, usb storage and transfer to PC,
windscreen & outdoor performance, monitoring the recording with headphones, simplicity of operation, etc etc.).

I ended up with a Tascam DR-05. I will report back how well it works.
