Ticking noise from NAD amp?

I just noticed while paused on a television program that a faint ticking noise was coming from my speakers. The ticking comes from both speakers, the headphone jack, and if I crank the volume the noise does get louder. The noise is there whether audio is playing through it or not - as long as the amp is on and you have something connected to listen to, you hear the chirping/ticking. About once a second.

Anyone know what this could be?

I am a newbie, but sounds like maybe the relay? This person had a clicking problem.

Thanks - the amp itself is not clicking, just the speakers/headphones connected to it. :/
