Can't bitstream HD audio - E450 & HD6320 throught HDMI

Hi people.

First off all and like the other thread I try to make all around the web, sorry for my approximate english.

And here I go, there's my specs :

Computer :

Netbook hp dm1 4131ef

Processor & graphics : AMD e-450 with HD 6320 graphics (HDMI out)

4 Go of ram

AVR :

Onkyo HT-R538 (certified Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD MA)

So, like many people, I want to bitstream my HD audio throught my little netbook to my Onkyo AVR.

Before that, all working good : AC3, DTS, mkv and m2ts working fine with MPC-HC, AC3 filter and CoreAVC.

In the property, my HDMI sound output show True-HD, DTS-HD MA formats so I presume it's ok ? The catalyst version is 12.6.

Anyway, I've tried many solutions, for DTS-HD here's some examples :

- mpchc + ffdshow > no sound at all if I tick DTS-HD in the HDMI section > Only DTS if I untick the DTS-HD button (I see it on my AVR)f

-mpchc + LAVaudio > no sound at all if I tick the DTS-HD button > Only DTS if I untick the DTS-HD button

-Power DVD 10, 11, 12 > only DTS, no HD

-TMT5 > like the others, just DTS, no HD

Same thing for the Dolby-TrueHD files, m2ts and mkv ones.

So I'm desperate, all my specs seems to be compatible but I can't get this HD sound working. On my BD player the DTS-MA sound working well anyway.

Somebody can tell me what's wrong please ?

Thanks very much in advance.

Best regards.

Cheers.

I can't respond to all of your playback options for HD audio playback but I can tell you how it works with Power DVD. You need to start playback of a Blu-Ray movie with HD audio before the option appears in the audio setup screen. Once playback begins, go to the setup screen or whatever it's called in PDVD and you'll see the option for HDMI output and HD audio. You should then see the appropriate audio format displayed on your Onkyo. The HD audio option will remain in effect until you play back a different type of video file that does not contain HD audio. The next time you try to play a Blu-Ray movie you'll have to set it up manually again.

Remove all of the other programs and codecs from your system. Install a trial version of TMT5 and see if you bitstream. If you can, it's a software issue. If you can't, there may be a PAP issue.

The answer was here, just here http://www.avsforum.com/t/1227161/edid-overrides-to-solve-bitstreaming-issues-for-ati-5xxxs.

Yes, in 2012 we have some hardware that need some tweack for work... Very strange but it's working now, DTS HS and True HD Dolby bitstream throught my HDMI output.

Thanks again guys.
