Best Coaxial Connectors?

Thread Starter
I'm fishing RG6 through the walls for the home theater. What are the higher end coaxial connectors? None of the ones I see at Fry's are gold plated.

Thanks!

I would not worry about gold plated connectors. The compression type F connectors are excellent (these are the type used by the cable companies)

or at frys: http://www.frys.com/product/4894060?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

and typical tool

Would the less expensive compression tool's work ok for homeowners (occasional use)?

This is what I use and they are very good. Fairly inexpensive as well.
It's a combo kit so you get the compression tool and a coax stripper.
