How shielded is my RG6 Cable? Specifications inside.

Hello,

I have Dual-runs of "Carol C5886 RG6-U" in each room of my house.

I need to buy F-Connectors for the ends of them, but am unsure which one to buy.

You can see the specs here:

http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/CA2011/P2448.pdf
http://www.generalcable.com/NR/rdonlyres/46854B6A-71C4-47C1-A34B-3381EE8F00D9/0/C5886.pdf

Looking at the first PDF, I can see that it is not Fig3 - Quad Shield. It looks to be either single or double shield?

Would any of the Monoprice F-Connectors work in this application?

Thanks for the help!

Quad Shield cable is almost always described as "Quad Shield" or "QS" in the description. Looking up the Carol Cable C5886 - it's not QS, so the normal RG6 connectors will work just fine. The QS are where you need the specific connectors to handle the thicker material/construction.
