Oops, I meant does anyone know the story behind the GBH 44.1, 44.2 sign offs? ZapTV lists 44.1 signing off at 11PM 7/2/2012 joining already signed off 44.2.

Are we supposed to randomly guess what you're talking about?

I assume you are referring to WGBX in Boston.

WGBX 44.2 (World) was moved to WGBH 2.2 once they stopped simulcasting HD and SD.

Have no idea what you mean by WGBX signing off.

The official schedule shows both WGBH and WGBX on the air.

Are you aware the shared antenna failed and is being refurbished? This has been extensively discussed in the Boston over the air forum. The affected stations are not expected to be back to normal until September.
