Please advise on AVRs (considering denon 3312ci / comparables)

Hi all, I just began assembling a surround system and need advice on AVRs. I originally looked at the Marantz SR6006 but after further digging, it looks like I can get more bang for my buck if I go for the Denon AVR-3312ci. I am looking at running 5 speakers, possibly updated to 7.1 down the line. So far I bought a a pair of def tech BP-8040ST towers and a def tech CS-8040HD center ($550 each / 300 respectively--thank you amazon and your deals!). I am looking to complete a 5ch system and use it for 90% HT, 10% music. I got 5 inputs (3HDMI, 1CPU, 1 composite) so I think Id be ok with 6-7 HDMI.

Features I like: OTA firmware pushing, mic-based speaker adjustments. iPod app is a nice plus, too.

Don't care about remote (have logitech), airplay / internet radio (I can arrange things well through my computer).

I am not looking for something to last me 10 years. I figure 5 years or so would be optimistic before I get the upgrade itch.

Amazon had the AVR-3312ci for i think 610 or so pretty recently and it has been as low as 550. The Marantz hasn't dipped lower than 780.

Thoughts? Are there other receivers I should be considering? Would these be good choices (not paying for much more than I need yet decently future proof)?

Thanks!!

I'm also looking at the 3312ci as compared to the 2113.-- both are the same price roughly. Obviously the 3312 is a higher level AVR, but do the new features on the 2113 justify going with that AVR? E.g., the 4K features on the 2113.

Also, any thoughts on the Mirage nanosat vs Energy Take Classic? Random question I know but I figure those who can advise on the AVRs can advise on speakers, too.

I have the 3311 and really like it. It’s hard to beat the current price on the 3312 so I would jump on it.

The 4k scaling will not affect very many people so I wouldn't pick the 2113 for that. The 2113's other advantage is the ability to play airplay independently in zone 2. The 3312 can only play airplay in zone 2 if it is also playing zone 1. That's really the only thing I see that the 2113 has an advantage on. I don't do zone 2 so I know I wouldn't downgrade from the 3312 to the 2113 for that feature. Its up to you wants more important.
