I bought this 50 inch 3D HDTV. A couple of weeks ago. Just a few days ago I decided to try out the 3D on a game (I use ps3) but there was a problem. For some reason the screen splits into 3 and a flickering white bar appears at the bottom. I'm trying to figure out if it's a manufacturing problem or some unknown setting I am just not finding because I'm blind. lol Does anyone have any ideas I could possibly try? Here's a picture

This is a first. Good thing this has not happened to me since I got my LG 3D months ago. Have you tried checking with the service center of Hisense? I am curious on what the root cause of the blurry white bar at the bottom.

I am not sure myself. It only happens with 3D games. It seems like a compatibility issue although I am not sure. I have, but they didn't have an available technician last Friday. So i'm waiting on a phone call from them this Monday. :/

As I know, the PS3's version must up to 3.55 can support 3D output. You can do update to the newest software version. And then do automatic setting in video output setting. I did this, it works, have a try.

You first problem is your bought a Hisense. Don't buy a cheap TV then expect the same performance as a higher price brand of better quality. If your TV is much cheaper than other TVs with similar specs, there is a reason for that.

Your not the only one I got the same brand same system and same issue.I'm guess it is the tv smh or maybe software error

If you are interested in a cheaper TV, then you may want to consider Vizio. Some of their models receive good reviews. And some of the entry level LG models can be reasonably priced, especially when Fry's has a weekend sale. But the best bargains may be the entry level plasmas from Panasonic and Samsung, if you can do without 3D and internet.

Did this ever get resolved? Seems a 3D tv that can't play 3D games is a pretty big issue...

My LG 3D tv sometimes does something similar..Try turning 3D off then turn it back on,it works for me.

Hisense is not crap or cheap maybe cheap price but quality is good and picture quality is much better than alot of tvs i have had or seen. I currently own a 50K360G Hisense, LG55LM6700 (2012), LG47LW5600 (2011) and before i got the 55LM6700 i had last years 55" the 55LW6500 (which i wish i had back) and the Hisense has some of the best pictures on it i like it more than my 55LM6700. It has much better trumotion than the LG does, mostly because LG didnt put de-judder and de-blurr on this years model and then sent out an update with only half the trumotion feature. Hisense will soon be sold with other top brands. Go to wal-mart they have the one i got the 50K360G up and it rivals almost all the other tvs. At my wal-mart they have one sandwiched right in between a LG and a Samsung and it looks way better than both of them even my wife thinks so and she's mostly blind to picture quality. The bezel on the one i got is thinner than the new Samsung 7000 series so the statement you made about it being cheap is way off, maybe cheap price but certianly not cheap quality. Im sure its a software issue nothing more.

I have had the exact same problem. I have the 46" version though.

I don't have many things that can even go 3D, but what I've tried:

on PS3
Shadow of the Colossus & Ico collection : this did the same double image bar thing

on X-BOX
Arkam City : does the double image bars
Gears of War : could manually set 3D (did not automatically work) and no bars appeared

on Blu-ray (using PS3)
Wreck It-Ralph : works perfectly fine. Excellent quality


I have even tried using a different HDMI cord and nothing seems to fix it.

Anytime I have tried turning on and off the 3D until the bars disappear the 3D just turns off.

I can't think of any reason for it to mess up. Especially since the 3D works perfectly fine on Bluray.
