I have no experience working A/V equipment and would like to set up some speakers on my pool area.
I need some advice on how to complete my project. 
- I would like to set up 2 outdoor speakers around my pool/deck area and all want is to be able to connect them to my iphone/ipod.
- I'm trying to stay away from getting a receiver to keep my project simple and on a low budget.
I was wondering if it would be possible to hook up these speakers to a power supply/amplifier and an audio jack? What would I need to get this done?
