I have an expert mode, but when I play movie from the usb I can select only standard, vivid, cinema from the Menu...
Instead, when I play movie from the playstation with HDMI I can select the expert mode I made.

What can I do?

There is no solution,it is as well.
By usb cannot access to expert mode, only to contrast, brightness, color, definition and edge enhancement.

So my experiences now:
I got a jun 2012 built with an extreme focus bug.
And the focuswheel was not turnable while the projector is mounted on tripod or on tip with the tripod screw.

I sent it back cuz this two points were annoying.

Anger that your unit has a focus issue mad.gif
It´s very strange that the focus ring does not work while the projector is mounted on a tripod. It makes no sense

I am now going to the PA70 and if this does have focus bug it is much easier to fix like on the little PB60.
I've got the money for it yet but I'm waiting for my backpayment.

Thanks for the answer espetodesardina wink.gif

Your settings are very good to me, so I wanted use them also in USB mode but seems like isn't possible.

Do you suggest to change "contrast, brightness, color, definition and edge enhancement" (and if so, how) or leave them as they are?

Contrast 90/100
Brightness 50/60
Color 55/60
Definition 65/70
Edge Enhancement Off

focus issue apart , pa70 at least and by the pictures than i see of the pb60 to ,
the picture is a little bit blurry if you compare with a 1080 dlp projectors than are razor sharp picture.

I was testing the espeto settings and are very good but on the pa70 the red color is too low for me .

I change the setting on vivid to warm and the gamma to low i like to see all in the dark shadows although sacrifice blacks.

now i am moving from the vivid with this adjust and standard with the same adjust in gamma

for me is impossible mixed the colors i do it i think is good then i go back to this modes and ruin me thoughts

if human beans kind nice and sweet who own a sensor maybe can do a pro calibration of the colors.

dgamepimp do it but i never seen the results

Saludos

Hi I just got a PB60G and it's quite difficult to focus it well, but after some time it gets to the point, anyway it's never perfect if you check with a black pattern and white lines the white lines alwas have some ""shadow"" over the black. I think it's just cheap optics or because I'm using a white wall instead of a projection screen.

Appart from that which is unnoticable in any other situation than focus test patterns I have a issue that I want to know if anyone else noticed which actually I think it's a defect.

I can't take pictures of it due the bad dynamic range of cameras compared to human eye but the projector creates some light on the edges easily noticable with a white wall and a black image on screen, it's like on what would be the edges of the lens projected into the wall, really small amouts of light leaking. Is that normal? any of you managed to notice it? I still can return it to amazon but what I wolud to is to ask for another unit so it doesn't make sense if it's just the way this projector is.

Here a image of where I see light:
