DVD to Blu ray question

*NEW QUESTION*

If I convert individual DVD's to Blu ray structure, is there a free program that will allow me to burn more than one of the converted movies to Blu ray disc and havea simple menu to choose which title I want to watch when I play the Blu ray disc?

I.E - I have all four Scary Movies on DVD. Since I have a few extra 25GB and 50GB discs leftover from my HD-DVD to Blu ray conversions, is it possible to rip all four of the Scary Movies to Blu ray structure and than burn all four onto a single disc (25 or 50GB, whichever size is needed) so that when I play the disc I can select which Scary Movie (1, 2, 3, or 4) I want to watch all from the same disc?

I have a bunch of series/trilogies I would like to do this with (Ace Ventura, Final Destination, etc). I know the audio/video would not be better converting to Blu ray, just want to free up some space on my shelves by combining each series onto a single Blu ray disc.

I currently use ClownBD for creating Blu ray structures with my HD-DVD's. Would ClownBD also work with DVD's or do I need to use a different program/combination of programs? And what program would allow the creation of menus for the Blu ray discs I would be burning?

Thanks!

I think the time stamps will be all wrong but if you have the time go ahead and give it a shot..

Sure, but why? It's just a different way of storing the same audio and video
obtained from the DVD.

It's not possible to do what you seem to be asking. You can recode audio
to any format you like, but you can't add fidelity by doing so. If it's encoded
as DD5.1, that's as good as it gets.

Sounds like you need some Blu-ray authoring software.

You can convert from "dvd" to "blu-ray" structure. You can burn as many of
these as will fit on a Blu-Ray blank disc. To do this, each "dvd" will need its
own directory, and this isn't the standard, BDMV format. My blu-ray player
will allow me to select the one I want; will your (software or hardware)
player support this non-standard, if convenient, format?

If you mean a menu that a hardware player could use, then, as Sammy2
says, blu-ray authoring software is your next topic of research. It's probably
your best bet anyway even if I know what I'm talking about.
