Hey guys, i was on here before researching projectors, and a member had a projector calculator (throw, screen size etc) that i believe he made and you could download. I know Projector central has it, but this guys was a bit more useful becausse you could input whether you are going to ceiling mount it or shelf etc. Where can i get it?

I am not aware of one you download, but I wrote this one www.eliteprojectorcalculator.com which exists on a web page.

Coderguy, please accept my sincere thanks for the tool you created. It's very user friendly - even for a PJ neophyte like myself. The fact that it has values for common projectors built in makes it a real joy to use.

It was incredibly helpful as I tried to figure out what was possible in my room with my new Viewsonic Pro8200 (which certainly has its quirks and mounting limitations).

Thanks for the kind words, it still has a ways to go (somewhat of an early beta), but it works in most respects. Eventually going to update it, once people at my regular job stop yelling that I'm behind schedule on other projects
