Can / should I add a passive subwoofer along with my powered sub to tx-nr609?

I currently have Onkyo tx-nr609 7.2 with Center Channel Speakercraft , 2 front polk 85ci, 2 side MTX Bioplar speakers, 2 rear Polk 85ci., and BIC - F12 powered subwoofer. My zone 2 is hooked up to the outside deck speakers.

I have a JBL HTI88 in wall passive subwoofer. Should / can I used it. If so, how would you go about adding the passive subwoofer? Any help would be most appreciated.

Taken from the manual

You are going to need an amplifier that puts out around 250w at 8 ohms. I don't know how much you're willing to spend.

Two 8" subs are not going to put out much spl. You already have two F12 subs and going through the trouble of cutting out a hole in the wall... not worth it IMO.

thanks so much! The F12 is a neighbor hater alright. Besides if I make another hole in the wall my wife will kill me. I have this jbl sitting around collecting dust, I'll put it on ebay.. Thanks again for the excellent feedback and possible saving my marriage!

Until the next episode...
