Hello everyone, I recently bought a 55" Viera UT50, I unplugged everything from my old tv a sony bravia plugged it in the exact same and none of it works. a sony 5.1 surround sound and turtle beach X11 I changed the tv setting to speakers off. the surround sound maybe it's compatibility? but the headphones are just plug and play should be no reason for them not to work

Check your cables smile.gif If you provide your exact setup (inputs outputs, cabling) it'll be easier to work through the steps to figure out how to get it working.

video 2 out from surround sound into the only red white yellow on the T.V. Headphones same thing put them in the only red white on the T.V. with USB in the PS3 and nothing. also tried video 1 out but really shouldn't make a difference. hooked it all back up to the bravia and it works fine.

The only two audio outputs the tv has is HDMI / ARC and optical. I'd guess the sony is a few years old and has no ARC audio out. It sounds like you hooked the headphones up to the tv's input. You'll have to hook up the optical cable from the tv to the surround and then you will get 2.0 or 5.1 depending on the source.

Those red and white jacks are inputs, not outputs. Inputs receive signals from outside devices, outputs send signals tou outside devices. Panasonic sets don't have analog audio outputs (neither do Samsung plasmas).
