I am at the point of painting my new home theater room. I am thinking of staying with neutral colors for the room; however, I am open to suggestions on colors from those that have gone through this before. Did you paint the entire room the same? Or did you paint the ceiling or soffits different than the rest of the room. I have a middle ceiling area that will be a star ceiling; otherwise, I am not sure what colors to use on the remaining ceiling, soffits, and walls. What type of paint should be used - flat, low-gloss, etc?
