I do think PF's have the largest rate of depreciation of all HT gear, followed closely by a receiver. Technology is a blessing and a curse all wrapped into one.
Projectors also reach a diminishing point of return much quicker than other gear. Take the RS50 vs 60 or 55 vs 65. A very small increase in picture came at a high entry price. How much value do you place on a 1,2,3% increase in contrast, etc.

this is why some buy used, not to be confused whit old, i mean used as in 4-5 months old, whit warrenty left then you dont take the biggest hit and can still sell it before warranty runs out and get a new toy again

The room is at a standstill now. Double drywalled, greenglued, GG sealant on final layer. Waiting for tape and float then finally the fun stuff begins. One of the drywallers sliced (very minimal) into part of the rear surround speaker cable. Luckily there's still around 12in additional length to the wall so all is good. The second window is also being installed this week so it's time to plan for the plug.

I've been focusing more on the small gym we have attached to the master. We're doing a 200sq ft space so equipment has to be limited. For those into working out I'm going with an EliteFTS 3x3 cage, Legend lat low row w/ 300lb stack, Bodycraft Leg press, Sorinex glute ham, and all pro dumbbells up to 120 on a Legend rack.

Theres been very little progress with the room over the last few months but we're starting to move forward. Here's a pic of the ceiling progress and the colors. The grey is actually a bit darker than what the image shows.

Rob, The woodwork looks great and the dark color too. What color is that?

Thanks Dale. The dark color is Sherwin Williams SW 6258 Tricorn black in flat. I'm going to do the charcoal grey areas in a dark grey suede. I'm going to wait until all of the subs are out of the house because of it's ability to scuff easily. Hopefully I will find something similar to this grey from Ralph Lauren:

The base color used on the wall (currently in pic) is SW 7018 Dovetail. This pic (not from my build) is more representative of what it actually looks like:

The HVAC installer screwed up and placed the zoned return way too close to one of the supplies. Luckily they did not disagree with moving it and will relocate it tomorrow. I'm going to wait until the end of the build to paint the supplies and return. Should these be primed and then spray painted or are they made to take standard latex used on the ceilings? I'm assuming flat black Krylon or Rustoleum would be a better way to go.
