You put your cable in the Left/LFE input and set the crossover on the sub to LFE smile.gif

Wow, nice. A "new" player on the market. Looks like you two have some good offerings.

Can't wait to see what Ricci has to say about the XV15 along with valuable test data with distortion level. Power Sound website does not list the distortion level.
It has Rubatek foam surround. Not sure what it likes but I like the rubber surround.

Tuning point on the XV15 is in the low 20s. I'm not sure if anyone noticed but we do have the CEA numbers on the site. The XV15 averaged 116.5 (2m) in what CEA calls "low bass"....that is 40-63hz. So it does have "slam" factor. We know everyone is waiting for reviews and we have several lined up. One of the first Power Sound Audio products out the door will be headed to Josh Ricci. I'm confident his CEA output stuff will closely correlate with our own.

Hey Tom, it's great to see you back in business smile.gif

As you know I have been following you for many years; at least since you started the Nousaine List. It's great to hear that Josh Ricci will be reviewing one of the first units out of the door. smile.gif His familarity with CEA standards makes him a natural to review your product(s).

Looking at the specs/graphs/output numbers, these already seem like a winner. Flat frequency response, the right amount of extension for real world rooms, gobs of output, and retro looks. Very old school textbook design.

What I'm really curious about is what lines will eventually be added. Tom you mentioned a lower end line, but is there a possiblity of a higher end line?

Same here!

Given the pedigree of the owners I do not consider this a leap of faith at all.

Hi Spyboy,

Remember those Nousaine list days? I actually went out and purchased every single copy of stereo review and audio just to make that.(thank god for ebay). CEA is a big step forward but there are more steps to go imo. At least we have even further industry confirmation that 2m ground plane is extremely accurate for low frequencies and we all don't have to go out and buy a 100ft flagpole.rolleyes.gif

Hello, We do list the CEA limited output(based on the audibility of distortion at low frequency research). But I agree with you---it is always best to have independent 3rd party data.

If a $1100 dual 15 that is capable of 119dB CEA@2m is your "mid end lineup". I can't wait to see what a higher end lineup would look like.

I like the approach of simple straight shooting performance that your website and lineup so far exudes.

Thanks Warp,

Jim and I both lean heavily toward the engineering side of things, Trying to come up with "ad copy" for the description of each subwoofer on our site was like pulling teeth for us...you probably would have LOL if you were in the room watching us struggle with it..smile.gif Once we get all the pre-orders shipped(should be by the end of next week) we'll be able to catch our collective breath and make some headway on potential new products.
