Most probably would not however, here's an interesting tidbit.
Klipsch makes the Khorn. It's been around for decades, love it or hate it. (I love it)
PWK set out to replace the Khorn with the Khorn II and take the Khorn back to a 2-way speaker. As he was finishing, he passed on. The Khorn II never made it to bona-fide production.
Enter the Juiblee (which is what he created) mated with the huge K402 horn on top, from their cinema lineup.
Cost is "about" $7,000 for a pair of these to be delivered to your door.
Today, there are about 26 Jubilee owners spread out from across the United States to Australia, Canada, England and Germany. Of these 26 owners, as best I can tell, 16 of them bought them without ever hearing them first. 16 represents 62% of the current owners plunking down $7K or more to buy something they've never heard.
Then again, at least one of them said to me that although he had never heard them, he bought them knowing how much he liked his Khorns and if PWK felt he bested the Khorn then that alone was good enough for him.
I happen to not fall into the 62% because I wasn't familar with the Jubilee at all and happened to hear them at a company open house and decided on that first hearing them that I wanted to get a pair. Consequently, I fall into the "Heard" crowd prior to purchase.
