Problem with new Pioneer VSX 1122-k..... *SOLVED*

Hey all just got one of these receivers to go with my new Panny 3D tv that's on the way and found a problem while using it with my current setup. I'm running it with an older Panny plasma, a Sony PS3, and a motarola dcx 3400 pvr. Last night while I was trying to watch my first bluray with it the receiver kept shutting down after about 10mins or so. It would work fine when running cable tv, or even playing an ipod with it. I tried playing a regular dvd and even playing some MW3 but had the same results......i'm stumped.

i'll do that but why would something like that effect one activity and not any of the others?

First off thx a lot for the suggestions I really appreciate it....I checked all the speaker connections in the back and there was nothing really suspect except one exposed wire leaning on another, but on the rubber not bare wire to bare wire. Not sure if that would cause any problems. I did do a firmware update before I checked the wires and it seemed to fix the problem. I ran the movie for about 20-30mins without any shutdowns, and was playing sirius through the receiver via the network connections. I was doing this at similar volumes for at least a half hour with no problems. I'm now going to try some gaming and see what happens......will post my results.

it wasn't touching wire to wire.....it was wire to rubber.

5mins into the game it shut down and what I forgot to mention when it does this the ipod indicator blinks red.

I think I found the problem.....I noticed down the rubber was torn on my surround right wire so the positive/negitive were touching. Fixed it and gonna try again.......
