Acoustic Panel from stretched canvas

Thread Starter
I was thinking of trying to use streached canvas that is 16" x 72" and fill them with some insalation (not sure what yet) then wrap them in aditional fabric for my home theater. Has anyone done this? What is it just a bad idea? I want some long tall acoustic treatments. This seemed the easiest and cheapest way to do it.

It would be cheaper to take/make a wood frame put in your acoustical treatment and wrap in fabric. You can make your own frames from Artists stretcher frames and there are some threads on that somewhere.
