Parts Needed for the HP MD6580n 65inch DLP Television (Aftermarket)

Ah yet another sucker. I feel your pain. They dropped the TV after one year I do believe. I can see why. Mine died the next month that the warranty expired. I was really bummed out because I really loved the picture.

I don't know how much help I can be but here goes. I still have the TV. From what I understand there are two major components/boards in the TV. One costed $900 and the other was $2000. Can you say ripoff? That experience taught me to never buy an HP branded consumer device ever again.

Anyway.... in my TV the $2000 part is bad (of course). The $900 part was replaced and is still in the TV. If that is what you are looking for we can discuss it. Too bad you are not close to me (Delaware) or I'd just let you take the whole thing.

I have the service manual around here somewhere too.
