I feel this question should settle the debate on where we all should expect our Projectors to perform at. I just purchased the Sony HW30 off of AVS ( receiving today
), and from what I seen many say that the Sony HW30 is most like the theater experience as far as lumens are concerned (Perfect in 2D and very watchable in 3D).
Sooo, I would love to know how many Lumens are we seeing while watching a movie in the theater with our 3D glasses on??? If you don't know, I would still love to hear a guess, as this question in itself, if it has an answer, should take care of how we all perceive the 3D home experience and what projector best suits our needs.
Basically any Projector on the market that is at or comes close to the theater experience in Lumens (in 3D mode) should never be in question as far as brightness is concerned.
Let's hear it!
