IR over CAT5 - How to terminate at wall?

Hi all,

I'm planning on running CAT5 from my IR receiver to a location behind my AV receiver; how do you terminate your IR cables coming out of the wall?

While I know I can terminate directly into a IR distribution box, I was hoping for some sort of jack or wall jack.

I saw someone posted a Buffalo IR Junction box but this looks to be surface mount - any ideas about flush mounting?

Do you guys just terminate into a RJ45 keystone and then patch from there?

I'd just do an RJ45 and make a patch cable for your emitter, but I have seen 3.5mm keystone jacks, which would allow you to hook up an emitter cable. Just note that if this is coming from an IR receiver, you must have a stereo jack, as the receiver needs 3 signals (power, IR, ground). Cables-to-Go sells these...

This one is stereo (i.e. 3 conductors for an IR receiver); they have a mono version for an IR emitter as well.
