Viewsonic Pro8200 signal loss

When viewing a DVD, the signal is often lost for a second or so and then reconnects. I have disabled the auto source scanning option. My receiver is a Pioneer VSX 1020K, but I assume this problem is with the projector. Any ideas?

Don't assume anything! smile.gif
First troubleshooting tip.
Plug the DVD into the pro8200 and see if it happens. If not , then it's not the pro8200. We had a guy the last couple of weeks that posted he had problems with his pro8200, he failed to mention he was going through a receiver at first , and as aside , in later post mentioned it. At least you mentioned it right away. Good for you.
If the DVD player works no problems when hooked up directly. Then look at your settings on the receiver. I don't know that receiver, maybe someone else here can help with settings, or do google search on it for video settings. Also, check cables, try different ones. Also, maybe mention the dvd player brand and any other details, does the pro8200 have problems with pc, 360, etc, but going direct to back of pro8200, not through the receiver. If you do have problem with dvd right into pro8200, maybe check through menu on the dvd player too to see if there are settings you can play with.
