I do have a LOT of things vibrating in my room. My door goes INSANE when I play music. I was just only using my towers (Haven't received the RCA cables to hook my amp up to my receiver so running just off my amplifier), and the door wouldn't stop going crazy. That's just one of the few things that rattles. But I can tell the difference between sub problem and rattling in my room and something is off.

$300 was already pushing beyond what I wanted to spend, so I ordered one thanks to the nice recommendations on this forum smile.gif

$300 seems to be the normal set price on Newegg now. When I ordered 2 days ago it was 300 with a promo code, but now they lowered it to 300 with no indication of it being on sale. Maybe it will drop into the 250-280 range next time it goes on sale.

Maybe next time it will be sold out. That's bound to happen eventually, which is why getting it now for $300 isn't a bad idea.

Does anyone know how this sub compares to the Klipsch Sub-12HG Synergy?

That's the sub I have now, however the rest of my speakers are Klipsch Reference series. I am pleased with the Synergy sub, I'm just curious how it compares to the Reference sub. Just wondering if I will hear much of a difference.

If you're planning to use BOTH, then definitely. If you're talking about getting rid of one for the other, I cannot comment.

But I will admit I'm a big fan of using BOTH!

Got mine yesterday.Nothing loose or broken.Sounds and feels good so far.Wont have time to get all the settings dialed in until the weekend though.BTW.I ordered it Saturday night and received itTuesday morning.smile.gif

Looks like with the V.me promo it can be had for $270. I jump on 1 for $280 a few weeks ago... tempted to add another but I haven't even had time to get the 1st one dialed in with my Outlaw EX yet. smile.gif

Both of mine arrived damaged from newegg.

I recorded a video showing the issues. One has a broken port tube, both have 2 broken pegs on each speaker grill.

Mine arrived today, grill and port are secure with no apparent damage. But I think we both knew we were basically playing a lottery with Newegg's stock. 0 for 2 is pretty bad luck frown.gif

I played with it for 10 minutes or so and I think it's great, I couldn't help but laugh when it started shaking the whole house at like half volume. It doesn't take much to impress me though, since I've never used a "real" sub before.

I've never seen it below $279.99 in the 12+ months I've been debating to pull the trigger or build one myself. Not including the V.me discount mentioned above.

Newegg should sell these subs for 249, or less. It seems that most of them are less than perfect. These subs should be labeled as rejects, if compared to prefect units !!
Sure most of the flaws are easy to fix, but still a reject and should be priced and sold as rejects... Newegg is getting away with murder at this point.. I think many buyers are just blinded and still think its a good deal, whats next, split seams in the cabinet, I'll just glue it together, or a bent out of shape speaker cone, suckers

I believe UPS and FEDX is making newegg repack these subs to prove the damages are not from there mishandeling / shipping but are being shipped from newegg with the damage before shipping to the buyers!!

I'm not going to argue the point.....but I for one am very happy with the $299 i got this sub for and don't think I could have got a better deal anywhere.

The port tube was loose. Took me all of 10 seconds to reach in and pull it back into place. Haven't had a problem since.

I believe you're right. Nothing has seemed to change since they started double boxing them.

The build quality is my only beef with this sub. What other product could be sold that the buyer's know there's a good chance they'll have to work on it when they get it?

At one time most were prefect, as time goes by the ones being shipped are getting worse, at what point will these be labeled rejects, and sold as-is. These subs cost to much to ship back to the egg, and the eggheads know it..
