I have a Samsung plasma PN50B860 TV and the darn menu keeps popping up by itself. Opened the back, don't see any bad capacitors or anything else amiss so I suspect the IR board is bad. The part # is BN41-01229A. Can't find any in stock anywhere via Google other than sites that appear to me to be of questionable integrity. Two sites that look like they may be OK simply based on the quality of the sites are ShopJimmy and Discount-Merchant but are out of stock and I know nothing about the sites. Looks can be misleading.
Any reputable sites that I can feel good about placing an order with (or having them order the part? I'm ok with waiting...I've upgraded to an LG 3D LED TV in the meantime but I would like this one to go into the bedroom to replace a 720p set.
